Tennessee Titans RB Darrynton Evans’ role will be determined on how much he will be able to handle, according to head coach Arthur Smith. Evans probably will be used when RB Derrick Henry needs a rest.
Footballguys View: Evans is a hard-charging running back who understands angles and will hit the hole quickly. He’s not a power back like Henry, but the rookie from Appalachian State handled a large workload in college and didn’t cough up the rock. He had 467 touches over the last two years without a fumble. That reliability means the Titans could count on him when Henry needs a breather.
