Tennessee Titans WR Marc Mariani (ankle) said Saturday, June 30, that he battled a high ankle sprain for most of last season, and that injury suffered in preseason limited his effectiveness. He is fully recovered, and battling for a receiver job in camp. ‘I feel kind of rejuvenated,’ Mariani said. ‘Instead of wearing down, I’m getting strong and feeling better. A high ankle sprain isn’t an easy thing when you have no rest (during the season). It was tough, but it will never be an excuse.’
