Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is happy with the hiring of offensive coordinator Norv Turner and called him ‘the perfect guy to lead us and get us on the right path.’ The Vikings were ranked 23rd in the league in passing offense last year, and they were ranked 31st in the league in 2012. ‘I’ll tell you, our pass offense has really struggled in the past couple years,’ Peterson told USA Today Sports. ‘I think (Turner) is going to be the perfect guy to come in and get us on the right path.’
Footballguys View: Peterson should be happy with Turner, the guy knows how to craft an offense built around a world-class running back. He’s had great success with legends like Emmitt Smith (Cowboys) and LaDainian Tomlinson (Chargers), but Turner struggled when working with Trent Richardson (Browns).
