Vikings | Adrian Peterson plans to break rushing record

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is looking to break former Dallas Cowboys RB Emmitt Smith’s career rushing record, and he said he expects to break the record in 2017. Peterson’s goal is to reach 2,500 yards this season after finishing with 2,097 yards last year. Peterson said he expects to surpass Smith’s 18,355 total career yards in Week 16 of 2017. Peterson is currently at 8,849 yards for his career.
