Vikings | Laquon Treadwell signs his rookie deal

Minnesota Vikings WR Laquon Treadwell signed his four-year rookie contract, including a fifth-year option Thursday, May 12.

Footballguys View: Treadwell was the last rookie the Vikings had to sign. He plays faster than his Pro Day time of 4.65 and he’s a fierce competitor for jump balls, so we are bullish on him long term. However, he will probably see more work blocking for Adrian Peterson, as offensive coordinator Norv Turner called more rushes than almost any other OC in the league and Treadwell is an excellent blocker. We don’t know if the Vikings will throw enough to make Treadwell a viable option in fantasy.
