The Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback competition this offseason is a wide open battle between QBs Matt Cassel, Teddy Bridgewater and Christian Ponder, according to head coach Mike Zimmer. Offensive coordinator Norv Turner will plan on having all three passers see enough snaps in mandatory minicamp to make sure that they all have a ‘legitimate opportunity’ to win the starting job in training camp next month. Zimmer won’t rush into a decision, and he made it clear that Cassel won’t enter camp as the presumptive starter. Both Cassel and Bridgewater had more snaps than Ponder during organized team activities, and both looked sharper than Ponder.
