Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee) has ‘progressed a lot’ in his recovery from a severe knee injury last offseason, according to head coach Mike Zimmer.
Footballguys View: Bridgewater could return this year for the Vikings, but it would be as a backup behind Sam Bradford. Zimmer added that Bridgewater must protect himself and show that he is able to make the necessary movements in order to succeed as a quarterback before returning to practice. Bridgewater’s future is up in the air as he’s set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2018.
