Chargers | Malcom Floyd expected to be No. 1 WR

San Diego Chargers WR Malcom Floyd is expected to enter training camp as the No. 1 receiver with WR Robert Meachem being the No. 2 receiver, but the designations likely will not matter since both will receive plenty of playing time.

Our View: Either way we feel San Diego will have a tough time finding someone to fill the shoes of Vincent Jackson. Floyd has great chemistry with QB Philip Rivers and could perform like a WR3 with upside in 2012.

Packers | A.J. Hawk not expected to lose time to D.J. Smith

Green Bay Packers LB D.J. Smith is not expected to take away any playing time from LB A.J. Hawk because he is not Hawk’s backup in the 3-4 defense. Defensive coordinator Dom Capers said he believes Smith can play the position even though he currently is the backup to LB Desmond Bishop.
