Broncos | Hillman still at the top of the depth chart
Denver Broncos second-year RB Ronnie Hillman is listed at the top of the depth chart released this week in the pre-game packet for the season opener against the Baltimore Ravens. Even though he’s at the top on paper we could see Montee Ball start the game on Thursday night.
Footballguys View: This RB situation is about as clear as mud right now. Hillman fumbled three times (two lost and returned for touchdowns) in the preseason and the team may turn to Ball as the lead back. Throw in veteran RB Knowshon Moreno into the mix but it further clouds the situation.

Broncos | RB Anderson back to jogging
Denver Broncos UDFA RB C.J. Anderson is back to light jogging as he continues to rehab from his preseason knee injury. “Knee’s feeling great. It’s actually feeling very, very good. I was excited when I got off crutches and out of that brace because I felt like for a week that I didn’t need them. But I’m listening to my trainers. [Head Athletic Trainer Steve Antonopulos] ‘Greek’s’ been here for many, many years so he knows what he’s doing and he knows what he’s talking about. I’m just going to continue to rehab strong and continue to get back and slowly in to it. We don’t want any setbacks when I get out there so I can be ready to go.”
Footballguys View: Anderson made the final roster and is a very interesting prospect to watch in super deep dynasty leagues. He showed a nice blend of power and burst throughout training camp and the first week of the preseason.
