Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin faces the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8, and he has three touchdowns in three career meetings with the Falcons.

Baltimore Ravens RB Justin Forsett faces the San Diego Chargers in Week 8, and the Chargers are allowing the second-most rushing yards per game this season and a league-high 5.3 yards per carry.

Baltimore Ravens SS Matt Elam (biceps) has been suspended one game without pay for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. Elam is on the Reserve/Injured list, but will serve his suspension in Week 8.

Cleveland Browns WR Dwayne Bowe will likely be active against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8 after three straight healthy scratches.

New York Giants RB Andre Williams is the most likely running back to lose touches to RB Orleans Darkwa going forward, but Jordan Raanan of NJ.com believes, the Giants will use a four-back rotation against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

Seattle Seahawks WR Paul Richardson (knee) won’t be activated to the 53-man roster for Week 8. He could return Nov. 15 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Miami Dolphins DE Cameron Wake (Achilles’) was placed on Reserve/Injured Saturday, Oct. 31.

Footballguys View: It was bad enough the Dolphins got their you-know-what kicked on Thursday night by the Patriots. Now, the defense will move forward without one of their best players. Entering the final year of his deal in 2016, Wake is owed $9.8 million by the Dolphins next season. It will be something to watch this offseason as that is a lot of money for a player coming off this devastating injury.

San Francisco 49ers RB Jarryd Hayne was cut Saturday, Oct. 31. RB Kendall Gaskins was signed from the practice squad.

Footballguys View: The rugby star made a splash in camp and the preseason, but he failed to capture any sort of fire during the regular season. They could always try to get him back on the practice squad if he clears waivers. Internationally, there was a lot of interest in Hayne…but fantasy owners weren’t dialed in because he has little value from the fantasy perspective.

Green Bay Packers CB Damarious Randall (ankle) and DT B.J. Raji (groin) were upgraded to probable for Week 8 against the Denver Broncos.

Footballguys View: The Packers will need to be near full strength to battle the Broncos on Sunday night. We have a feeling this will be a close game that could come down to a late field goal.

Green Bay Packers WR Ty Montgomery (ankle) was downgraded from questionable to doubtful for Week 8 Saturday, Oct. 31.

Footballguys View: Without Montgomery, we could see more from Davante Adams. The matchup against the Broncos is tough, but Adams could get a few catches and some yards as he’ll likely be matched up against nickel corner Bradley Roby…and Roby has been struggling at times this year. Remember Vikings WR Stefon Diggs breakout game? That came against Roby. Adams is an interesting “what the heck” flex in this tough matchup on Sunday night.
