Cowboys | Kenyon Coleman on roster bubble?

Dallas Cowboys DL Kenyon Coleman is entering the final year of a two-year, $3.5 millio contract, and he is expected to make a $1.9 million base salary in 2012. The rise of DL Sean Lissemore, re-deployment of DL Marcus Spears to the left side, and with seven defensive ends in camp might make Coleman expendable.

Colts | Delone Carter expects to be ready for camp

Indianapolis Colts RB Delone Carter (thumb) said Monday, June 25, that he expects to be ready for training camp. He tore a ligament in his thumb on the right hand during organized team activities (OTAs) in April, and he had surgery. ‘I don’t feel like it’s a big setback because we don’t have pads on yet,’ Carter said. ‘The only thing I feel is setting me back is not really getting out there and running routes with the defense, having to do it on my own. It’s different with a defender over you.’

Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix said Monday, June 25, that the team is hopeful of retaining OLs Andy Levitre and Kraig Urbik. Both offensive linemen are entering the final years of their contract. ‘We definitely want those guys back,’ Nix said. ‘I’ve told them. They know that. As far as us working on contracts we’ve been kind of busy. I think they want to be back and we want them back and when the times comes we’ll get started on it.’

Titans | DC expecting big things from Derrick Morgan

Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray said he thinks DE Derrick Morgan can have a big season as long as he stays consistent. ‘The kid was a rusher coming out of college, and the thing he has to do is be more consistent,’ Gray said. ‘He left five or six sacks out there last year. We expect him to finish those plays this season.’
