New York Jets SS Yeremiah Bell might be on the more underrated additions, not only for the team, but in the entire league. The Jets signed Bell to be a starter, and he is behind in learning the new defensive system. However, he reportedly had a strong minicamp.

Jets | Unlikely to have interest in Percy Harvin
Even if the Minnesota Vikings had a change of heart and decided to trade WR Percy Harvin, don’t look for the New York Jets to be serious contenders for his services. First, the club drafted WR Stephen Hill in the second round, so it’s unlikely they’ll add another big-time receiver. Second, the team wants to have a more run-oriented – or ‘Ground and Pound’ – offense.

Jets | Kris Jenkins not fan of Tim Tebow?
Retired DL Kris Jenkins (Jets) might not be that impressed by the exploits of QB Tim Tebow last season in Denver, although evidence refutes his statement. ‘He won on a lot of late drives where you are dealing with altitude and defenses are tired, and then he’s making the magic happen,’ Jenkins said. ‘Now he’s at sea level. Everyone can keep up with you.’ The evidence suggests Jenkins is misguided, as three of Tebow’s five fourth-quarter comebacks were on the road, and Tebow did play his college ball at pancake-flat Florida.

Jets | Plaxico Burress credits himself for team’s red-zone turnaround
Free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Jets) credits himself for helping the turnaround of the New York Jets in the red zone last season. He hauled in seven red-zone touchdowns, and only five NFL receivers had more than that. However, he remains unsigned.

Jets | Antonio Cromartie due to make more than Darrelle Revis
New York Jets CB Antonio Cromartie is due to make more money over the next two seasons than CB Darrelle Revis. Cromartie is scheduled to make $16.5 million to just $13.5 million for Revis, which is why the star cornerback is unhappy with his contract situation. There are also four other players – OT D’Brickashaw Ferguson, LB David Harris, WR Santonio Holmes and QB Mark Sanchez – who are also scheduled to make more.

Browns | Have decision to make on Seneca Wallace
The Cleveland Browns are expected to trade QB Colt McCoy at some point, but they are likely to make a decision on QB Seneca Wallace, too. The team drafted QB Brandon Weeden as the presumed starter, and the club needs to figure out whether they want to pay Wallace $2.4 million for the upcoming season.

Browns | Eric Hagg impresses in offseason workouts
Cleveland Browns SS Eric Hagg has served as the starting free safety since the start of organized team activities (OTAs). However, he will still need to hold off FS Usama Young in training camp if he wants to win the starting gig going into the regular season.
