Cardinals | Trio of RBs to likely get long look
With Arizona Cardinals RBs Beanie Wells (knee) and Ryan Williams (knee) likely to see limited touches during the preseason, RBs Javarris James, LaRod Stephens-Howling and Alfonso Smith are likely to see an extended look during training camp and the preseason. Cardinals | Battle for No. 3 QB job

Cardinals | Rashad Johnson is third safety
Arizona Cardinals FS Rashad Johnson might see time on the field at the same time as starting safeties Kerry Rhodes and Adrian Wilson, although three cornerbacks is more likely. Still, Johnson is the favorite for the No. 3 safety job.

Cardinals | Competition at CB will be heated
The Arizona Cardinals have plenty of depth at the cornerback position, so it will be interesting to see who stays and who goes. CB Patrick Peterson is an unquestioned starter, but it is uncertain who will start opposite him. CB William Gay is considered a good fit to replace CB Richard Marshall (Dolphins) in the hybrid/cornerback role. That leaves CB Michael Adams, Jamell Fleming, A.J. Jefferson and Greg Toler to duke it out for a meaningful role.

Cardinals | Two youngsters need to step up
The Arizona Cardinals need LBs Sam Acho and O’Brien Schofield to step up in the pass rush from the outside. The two are expected to see significant playing time, with both projected as the starters at the outside linebacker spots. LBs Quentin Groves, Clark Haggans and Brandon Williams are also in mix, and will push the youngsters for playing time.

Cardinals | Stewart Bradley strictly a backup
Arizona Cardinals LB Stewart Bradley will enter training camp strictly as a backup, providing depth at both inside and outside linebacker. Both he and the team are expecting more this season after a disappointing first campaign last season with the team.

Bengals | Trio of safeties looking to shine
Cincinnati Bengals FS George Iloka is considered a dark horse candidate to win the starting strong safety job, although his play against the run is the biggest concern. FS Robert Sands needs to be more consistent if he is to make the roster, as he struggled during offseason workouts. The undrafted rookie SS Tony Dye was solid in coverage, and strong in run support during the offseason program.
