Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore may need to play well during the preseason to get an advantage in his competition with QB David Garrard for the starting quarterback job because he is not considered a great practice player.

Our View: According to reports Garrard has a bit of an edge over Moore at this time. There’s not a big gap between the two veterans and the competition could go either way. No matter who wins the starting job at the beginning of the season could eventually be replaced by future franchise QB Ryan Tannehill.
