Jaguars | Marcedes Lewis not in great shape

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey said TE Marcedes Lewis has to get in better shape. ‘When you don’t train here in the heat, he lives out in California, and it’s going to take him a little bit to acclimate to this kind of weather,’ Mularkey said.

Our View: Lewis has some factors in the offense (like overall effectiveness) working against him, and now apparently, his own offseason conditioning. He is barely getting drafted, if at all, and it looks like that is the correct approach to Lewis in fantasy leagues after his career year in 2010.

Texans | Arian Foster defends diet

Houston Texans RB Arian Foster said the team is behind his new Vegan diet and believes the regimen will help him. ‘I didn’t just blindly stop eating meat. I know what I’m doing,’ Foster said. ‘There’s nothing to talk about in the offseason – that’s why (my tweet) got so much attention. Nobody asked what I ate last year … It’s just the flavor of the week. You’ll forget about it in a month.’

Our View: In Foster we trust. If you get him at the number three pick, consider yourself lucky.
