The team feels particularly good about Snelling and Rodgers, who are expected to spell RB Michael Turner more this season.

The battle for the starting strong safety job between SS Kurt Coleman and SS Jaiquawn Jarrett got more interesting when the team signed free-agent SS Oshiomogho Atogwe.
