Dolphins | Reggie Bush still thinks he can win rushing title

Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush still believes he will lead the NFL in rushing this upcoming season, a statement he also made earlier this offseason. ‘I believe in setting the highest goals possible for yourself or you don’t belong in this game,’ Bush said. ‘This is a game of all-stars. Every team is equally good in the beginning, and even the bad teams any Sunday can beat you.’

Dolphins | Working on the no-huddle

The Miami Dolphins worked on some no-huddle offense during practice Saturday, July 28, which they rarely did last season unless it was necessary. Head coach Joe Philbin and offensive coordinator Mike Sherman are feeling out their quarterbacks in camp to see how much the no-huddle can be a part of this year’s playbook. ‘We want to be an up-tempo offense and we do want to run a lot of plays at the opposition,’ Philbin said.

Dolphins | David Garrard sharp in practice Saturday

Miami Dolphins QB David Garrard began practice Saturday, July 28, on the first team and later rotated with QB Matt Moore. Garrard, however, took a step forward and definitively looked like the better quarterback. He didn’t force anything and made good throws downfield when the opportunity presented itself. Moore, meanwhile, struggled with his accuracy. He missed too many throws he should have completed.
