Cowboys | Mike Jenkins likely ready for Week 2

Dallas Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins (shoulder) is more likely to make his debut in Week 2. By then, barring any setbacks, he would have been able to participate in six practices, which should make him ready on a limited basis. His role on the defense, however, remains up for debate. Jenkins could play the outside receiver in some four-receiver sets and even some slot corner if necessary. He could also spell starting CBs Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne.

Why this year’s Hard Knocks experience should make more want to follow in the Dolphins footsteps…

When presenting an argument, it can be important to disclose your bias off the top. We all have them in some form or another, and doing so can assist in clarity. I’ll do that now in saying that I love HBO’s Hard Knocks. I was a big fan of the show before, and this season featuring the Dolphins has only increased that. It’s must-TiVo TV.
