The team has also placed LB Sean Spence (knee) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2012 season.

Our View: Kafka was a hot prospect for the team early in his career, but the fourth-round pick’s development stalled out and third year’s third-round pick Nick Foles flew past him on the depth chart. That Trent Edwards also beat out Kafka shows you why no team offered the Eagles anything in a trade.
