Packers | WRs not producing much after receptions

One of the most glaring weaknesses for the Green Bay Packers offense so far this season has been production after receptions. WRs Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Randall Cobb all have averaged fewer yards post-catch in the first three games than they did last season. ‘We’ve addressed that in our room, especially on those little bubble routes,’ Nelson said. ‘Just catch it and get vertical. Definitely get the first downs. Don’t try to make a home-run play out of something small.’

Jets | Antonio Cromartie not lacking confidence

New York Jets CB Antonio Cromartie said he is the league’s top cornerback, now that CB Darrelle Revis (knee) is out for the season due to injury. ‘I have said that I’m the second-best corner in the NFL,’ Cromartie said. ‘I’m not backing off what I said. I don’t care what anyone else believes … It’s my confidence in myself. I know what I’m capable of when I’m at the top of my game.’

Jaguars | Maurice Jones-Drew still unhappy?

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew said the reason he reported to the team was because it was obvious to him the Jaguars were not going to reward him with a new deal. ‘I came to the realization when multiple teams offered multiple picks and players to trade for me, and pretty much the Jaguars wouldn’t budge,’ Jones-Drew said. ‘When it comes to that point where they’re not allowing you to get compensated for your play, and they won’t pay you and they won’t show you your value, you have to come back.’
