Jaguars | New deal unlikely for Maurice Jones-Drew

The Jacksonville Jaguars are highly unlikely to give RB Maurice Jones-Drew a new deal in the offseason now that he’s injured and with the way owner Shahid Khan handled Jones-Drew’s holdout in the offseason. The Jaguars could look to trade or release him. Jones-Drew is set to make $5 million next season in the final year of his deal.

Packers | A landing spot for Steven Jackson

The Green Bay Packers are one of the favorites to trade for St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson. General manager Ted Thompson ‘covets’ Jackson and had offered ‘significant packages’ for the running back previously. However, it’s unlikely Green Bay will unload draft picks for a rusher that will be a free agent at the end of the year.
