Bengals | Brian Leonard to be potential playoff hero?
Cincinnati Bengals RB Brian Leonard was the team’s leading rusher in Week 17 with 10 carries for 34 yards, getting the bulk of the work with RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (hamstring) injured during pre-game warm-ups. Bengals | Status for BenJarvus Green-Ellis uncertain
Updating a previous report, the Cincinnati Bengals are concerned about the status of RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (hamstring) heading into the playoffs. He injured his hamstring in pre-game warm-ups and did not play in Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Our View: Guess this injury wasn’t an excuse for Green-Ellis to rest. The Bengals would then be down to their fourth-string running back. They would be smart to abandon the run and just go the spread against the Texans vulnerable pass defense.
