NFL | Eric Fisher impressive at Senior Bowl

Central Michigan OT Eric Fisher has shown exceptional athleticism, footwork and body control during practices for the Senior Bowl this week and could compete with Texas A&M Luke Joeckel to be the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2013 NFL Draft. He has displayed a strong initial punch and the capacity to anchor against power rushers.

NFL | Ryan Nassib disappoints

Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib had a rather disappointing showing at the Senior Bowl this week, and scouts were not happy to see a hitch in his delivery that slows down his throwing motion. However, teams like his intelligence and confidence. Nassib hasn’t done enough, though to make himself the second quarterback off the board in this year’s draft.

NFL | Mike Glennon standing out

North Carolina State QB Mike Glennon is easily the best quarterback on the North squad at the Senior Bowl this week, according to scouts. They like his arm strength and ability to spin the ball, and his skillset is very intriguing, despite the fact he didn’t have a great showing this week. However, there is still a debate on where he should be selected in the draft.

NFL | Mike Gillislee could be successful

One scout that’s had success finding running backs thinks Florida RB Mike Gillislee could have the ability to be an all-downs back in the NFL. The scout said Gillislee is a hard worker that has prepared himself in the weight room.

Our View: Gillislee looked good in space because of his speed and open field moves. However, he struggled mightily in pass protection drills at the Senior Bowl. Gillislee has low miles on his legs as he barely played for the Gators over his career. If he improves his ability to protect the QB then perhaps he’ll make it as a change of pace RB in the NFL.
