Randy Moss says he’s greatest wide receiver of all-time
It wouldn’t be a Super Bowl media day without at least one player saying something to work up the assembled media. The big, eyebrow-lifting comment from the early hours of Super Bowl XLVII Media Day came from San Francisco 49ers veteran wide receiver Randy Moss, who said he considers himself to be the greatest wide receiver of all-time. Most NFL fans probably wouldn’t even consider him the best wide receiver in 49ers’ history, but at least Moss explains his reasoning. If he truly believes that, Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens would provide him the perfect opportunity to show off the skills that have made him the greatest. Filed under: Super Bowl

Colin Kaepernick: I let Jim Harbaugh win first leg of throwing contest
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick certainly seems to be cut from the same cloth as his coach, Jim Harbaugh. Kaepernick shed some light on the throwing exhibition, noting that the duo of quarterbacks engaged in throws at the goal posts and determining who had the better spiral. When it got down to finding out who emerged victorious, Kaepernick didn’t hold back. “I let him with the first one, […]

Jim Harbaugh runs like Colin Kaepernick — in his dreams
The younger Harbaugh brother coaching in Super Bowl XLVII took some time to chat with reporters after the San Francisco 49ers arrived in New Orleans Sunday evening. NFL.com’s Stacey Dales asked Jim — himself a quarterback in the NFL for 14 years — if he saw any personal qualities reflected in his young starting QB Colin Kaepernick. Harbaugh’s displays of passion during games don’t go unmentioned, but his humor was on display as well in this response: “When Colin’s running … the stride that he has, the gracefulness with his stride, the ground that he covers, how fast and quick he is — reminds me of myself. And then I wake up,” Harbaugh said. Filed under: Super Bowl
