Jets | Trading Darrelle Revis could be costly
The New York Jets would take a $9 million salary cap hit if they trade CB Darrelle Revis before June 1. It is also unlikely the Jets could get a fair return for arguably the best defensive player in the NFL.

NFL | Denard Robinson’s stock dropping?
Michigan WR Denard Robinson’s draft stock appears to be dropping after a poor showing in workouts at the Senior Bowl. ‘Not good,’ one AFC scout said. ‘I think he took himself from like the third, fourth round to like the sixth, seventh round.’ Robinson had difficulty catching the football and showed his inexperience running routes and getting off jams at the line of scrimmage. ‘He’s got to catch the ball a lot better,’ an NFC scout said. ‘I have no idea at this point what I would do. He’s not a corner, he’s an offensive skill guy, but where do you put him?’

Packers | Aaron Rodgers wants Charles Woodson back
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said CB Charles Woodson is one of the team’s core players and hopes he returns in 2013. Woodson is due $10 million next season, and the team may want him back at a lower number. ‘I know he is under contract and that he is an important part of our football team,’ Rodgers said. ‘I think he adds a lot. He is still playing at a really high level. He’s very intelligent and sets a good example in preparation … Having his presence around the locker room really helps, setting an example for the young guys. It helps me out, as far as being the leader.’

Jets | Owner growing tired of Rex Ryan?
Although New York Jets owner Woody Johnson has shown his support publicly for head coach Rex Ryan, he is reportedly not as devoted to Ryan as everyone thinks. While Johnson admires Ryan’s innate leadership skills and his ability to relate to players, he isn’t blind to the other stuff, according to people familiar with his thinking. As one person said, ‘He’s tired of the circus.’ Ryan has two years and more than $6 million remaining on his contract, so that is likely a big reason why he is still the head coach.
