Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II said the team needs better production from the running back position next season whether it be from the running backs on the roster or someone else. ‘Whether it’s [RB Rashard Mendenhall] or [RB Jonathan Dwyer] or [RB Isaac Redman] or somebody else, we have to be better at that position, as well as others, but certainly at that position. In this offseason that’s something we’ve got to look at and decide how we get better and who we get better with.’

Our View: The Steelers need to go back to Steelers football. That’s a recipe for success which includes pounding the rock and beating opponents up with the ground game. We’ll see if Pittsburgh adds a RB like Eddie Lacy (Alabama) in the 2013 NFL Draft.
