Packers | Cullen Jenkins unlikely to return

Free-agent DL Cullen Jenkins (Eagles) is not likely to return to the Packers after being cut by the Eagles Monday, Feb. 25, according to Mike Vandermause of the Green Bay Press Gazette. Vandermause points out Packers general manager Ted Thompson let Jenkins go in free agency two years ago, and that Thompson historically does not sign 32-year- old players. Vandermause also suggests the team will likely look to fill their need on the defensive line with a younger player.

Packers | Desmond Bishop injury update

Green Bay Packers LB Desmond Bishop (hamstring) should be ready for organized team activities and mini-camp this off-season, according to his agent, Blake Baratz. “He’s been rehabbing daily, getting the strength back in his quads and his legs,’ said Baratz. ‘I think he’s 85, 90%. I’d have to ask him but he’s getting there. He’s getting there. I think he’ll be fully cleared for all of the off-season stuff.”
