Baylor WR Lanear Sampson and Rutgers WR Mark Harrison posted times of 4.46 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine Sunday, Feb. 23, landing them just outside the Top 10 at their position. Georgia Tavarres King and Arkansas WR Cobi Hamilton managed a time of 4.47 seconds, Lehigh WR Ryan Spadola checked in at 4.48 seconds, while WR Tyrone Goard had a time of 4.50 seconds. Washington State WR Marquess Wilson, Southern California WR Robert Woods and Florida State WR Rodney Smith had times of 4.51 seconds, while Baylor WR Terrance Williams, West Virginia WR Stedman Bailey and Tennessee Tech’s Da’Rick Rogers were clocked at 4.52 seconds.

Elon WR Aaron Mellette and Cincinnati WR Kenbrell Thompkins posted a 4.54-second time, while Kansas State WR Chris Harper checked in at 4.55 seconds. Virginia Tech WR Marcus Davis managed 4.56 seconds, while Clemson’s DeAndre Hopkins was clocked at 4.57 seconds. South Carolina WR Ace Sanders had a time of 4.58 seconds, while Syracuse WR Alec Lemon and Jacksonville State WR Alan Bonner finished at 4.59 seconds. Southern Methodist WR Darius Johnson checked in at 4.60 seconds, while Eastern Washington WR Brandon Kaufman had a time of 4.67 seconds. Duke WR Conner Vernon was good for 4.68 seconds, and Missouri WR T.J. Moe rounded out the group with a time of 4.74 seconds.

California WR Keenan Allen (knee) did not participate in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine Sunday, Feb. 24. His absence was expected, as he recovers from a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

Updating a previous report, Utah DT Star Lotulelei’s (heart) agent said Lotulelei is expected to participate in all the drills during his Pro Day. Lotulelei is scheduled to meet with a heart specialist later this week.
