The Miami Dolphins could consider taking West Virginia WR Tavon Austin or Notre Dame TE Tyler Eifert in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Our View: Austin may be off the board by the time the Dolphins pick at 12th overall. He’s an electric playmaker who reminds many in the scouting community of Randall Cobb (Packers). Eifert is considered the top TE in this draft class. The Dolphins need to add talent at the TE position even though they added Dustin Keller in free agency.

The Oakland Raiders could consider taking University of Florida DT Sharrif Floyd in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft if he is available when they pick.

Our View: The Raiders could go in a number of different directions with the third overall pick. Floyd is an option because of his ability to generate middle pressure on the QB.

New York Jets CB Antonio Cromartie said he is not happy with the possible trade of CB Darrelle Revis because he was looking forward to playing with him next season. ‘It’s a disappointment,’ Cromartie said. ‘You look forward to playing with the best cornerback in the league. When you pair us to together, we felt like we had the best tandem. We had the best tandem. Now, he’s leaving. You just got to roll with the punches.’

Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins said he will be ready to start Week 1 if QB Robert Griffin III (knee) is not ready to come back from his knee injury. ‘What I do know is I need to be ready and I will be,’ Cousins said. ‘And I will benefit greatly from the reps I get throughout (off-season workouts) as well as training camp and preseason games this coming August. I do believe he’s gonna heal very quickly. I don’t want to put any pressure on him to heal as fast as an [Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson], did but it wouldn’t surprise me.’
