San Francisco 49ers defensive line coach Jim Tomsula had a dinner meeting with Florida State DE Cornellius Carradine Friday, April 19.
Our View: Carradine is certainly an option for the 49ers with the 31st overall pick in the first-round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He was looking like a top 5 selection before a knee injury in late November cost Carradine the rest of his final season at Florida State. He’s got the size to be a quality edge setter against the run. Carradine can also create pressure from the outside and has multiple moves to get after the passer.
