Buccaneers | LeGarrette Blount still available

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still looking to trade RB LeGarrette Blount. Several teams have shown interest in Blount and a trade could occur during the 2013 NFL Draft.

Our View: Teams looking for a big RB should be interested in Blount. He is not going to get much playing time behind second-year star RB Doug Martin. If Blount is traded or released then Michael Smith would be the primary backup for the Bucs.

Jets | Darrelle Revis say no extension talks took place

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Darrelle Revis said he did not have any contract extension talks with the New York Jets this offseason before they decided to trade him. Revis said he feels like the Jets lied to him because they told him they wanted to keep him.

Our View: It’s a business and teams have to make tough choices. The Buccaneers had no problem showing Revis the kind of money he desired.

Titans | Kenny Britt looks good at workouts

Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker said WR Kenny Britt looks good at the start of offseason workouts. ‘He came back and looked great during workouts,’ Locker said. ‘It sounds like he really got on his rehab and got his knee feeling a lot better and I’m really excited about how he came back.’

Our View: Britt has flashed big time talent but needs to play with more consistency this year (in addition to staying healthy). In 14 games last year Britt could only muster 45 catches and four TD receptions.
