Broncos | Have roles in mind for RBs

Denver Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway said the team sees RB Willis McGahee as a big back and RB Ronnie Hillman as a change-of-pace backs. ‘With (Willis) McGahee, he’s our big back right now,’ Elway said. ‘We have Ronnie Hillman who’s a 190-pounder change-of-pace type guy. We look at Willis as being that big back for us right now, and then we’ll see what happens in the draft.’

Our View: The key phrase for McGahee is ‘right now.’ The Broncos are looking to add a big RB in the 2013 NFL Draft. Guys like Eddie Lacy (Alabama), Le’Veon Bell (Michigan State), and Marcus Lattimore (South Carolina) are options for them.

Broncos | Likely to keep first pick

Denver Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway said the team likely will keep their first-round draft choice and will not look to make a trade.

Our View: The Draft is always in motion and the Broncos could change their tune at the end of the first-round. Many expect them to address the DE or CB position on the first day.

Bengals | Believe James Harrison can play in 4-3 defense

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said he believes LB James Harrison will be able to adjust to playing in a 4-3 defensive alignment. ‘He can adjust; he was their adjustor in Pittsburgh,’ Lewis said. ‘I have no doubt he can do it. He’s got that flexibility and he’s a smart, hard-working guy. But it all starts with the fact he’s physical against the run.’
