The Miami Dolphins have signed second-round draft choice CB Jamar Taylor (Boise State) to a four-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Our View: Taylor is a talented corner with a good size/speed combination. He has the speed to turn and run with receivers downfield. Taylor also has the size to get physical and press opponents at the line of scrimmage. He’ll compete for a starting job in training camp.

New England Patriots TE Jake Ballard (knee) has looked sharp during organized team activities and hasn’t been limited after having major knee surgery around 16 months ago. Ballard has shown nice hands and will be a nice blocking asset for the team this year. ‘I’m doing my best I can to be 100 percent, and I’m doing as much as I can, as much as they’re allowing me to do out here,’ Ballard said. ‘When I’m out here I feel like I’m putting in good work and getting better.’
