Dolphins | Brandon Gibson working in slot

Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Gibson has been working as a slot receiver during organized team activities. Gibson believes he can play the position because he can run all of the routes and get separation.

Our View: Gibson is a bit larger than most slot WRs but he’s capable of playing that position. He does a good job of using his frame to box out defenders away from the ball and will consistently pluck passes out of the air. Gibson will compete with Armon Binns for the WR3 spot behind Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline in 2013.

Dolphins | Richard Marshall still not 100 percent

Miami Dolphins CB Richard Marshall (back) said he is not completely recovered from the back injury he suffered last season but has been working with the first-team defense during organized team activities this offseason. Marshall is expected to compete with CB Dimitri Patterson for a starting cornerback job with CBs Jamar Taylor and Will Davis also possible candidates for the job.

Broncos | Quentin Jammer says he can play safety

Denver Broncos CB Quentin Jammer said he would be willing to play at safety if the team asked him to because he believes he can play any defensive back position. ‘I always considered myself a football player, not really put a label on myself as a corner or a safety,’ Jammer said. ‘This is the game of football, and I feel like I can be plugged in anywhere on the defense and play – other than the big hosses up front. Any of the skill positions in the back end I can be plugged in and play. I wanted to come in and help this football team as much as I can.’
