Jacquizz Rodgers unsure of role with Atlanta Falcons
Jacquizz Rodgers carved out a defined role when playing alongside Michael Turner with the Atlanta Falcons last season. With Steven Jackson now in town, Rodgers’ role is less defined.

Riley Reiff adds muscle for Detroit Lions tackle shift
The Detroit Lions are counting on second-year tackle Riley Reiff to protect quarterback Matthew Stafford’s blind side in 2013. Will adding 10 pounds of muscle be his key to success?

Dolphins | Tannehill looking like a veteran QB
Miami Dolphins second-year QB Ryan Tannehill is looking like a veteran during this offseason according to Omar Kelly from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Tannehill is reportedly throwing better downfield and making proper checks at the line of scrimmage.
Our View: Great news for the Dolphins here. We love the upside of Tannehill and believe he could be the franchise QB the Dolphins have been missing since the days of Dan Marino. The team did a good job of adding weapons (WR Mike Wallace, TE Dustin Keller) around him this offseason. We should see him take a big step in 2013.

Cowboys | RB Tanner making a good impression
Dallas Cowboys RB Phillip Tanner has been making a good impression at OTAs. New RB coach Gary Brown said, “From what I’ve seen so far, he looks like he’s in great shape. He’s studying. He knows what he’s doing and not making any mental errors.”
Our View: Tanner needs to improve if he wants to win the RB3 job behind Demarco Murray and rookie Joseph Randle (Oklahoma State). Lance Dunbar is the main competition for Tanner in training camp.

Lions | RB Bush knows the playbook
Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush is feeling good about his knowledge of the team’s playbook. “It’s pretty similar,” Bush said. “This playbook, from a terminology standpoint, is a little easier to learn, and probably just because I’ve been in the league going on eight years now. I know pretty much everything. It’s just different terminology. It’s pretty easy for me to pick up now.”
Our View: Bush is a perfect fit for the Lions offense. His big play ability should be accentuated in that high powered offense. In PPR leagues we wouldn’t be surprised to see Bush finish the season as a top 10 fantasy RB.

Cowboys | Staubach backs Romo
Hall of Fame QB Roger Staubach backs current Cowboys’ starter Tony Romo. “Tony Romo is a championship quarterback,” Staubach said. “He can take a team to a championship. He can’t do it by himself, but I really believe he can do it. I just see what he does on the field, the plays he makes, the throws he makes, the sense that he has to move in the pocket, so I’m pulling really hard for Tony because I really believe he is one heck of a quarterback. And that’s a feeling from somebody that I didn’t say that about any other quarterbacks except for Troy Aikman. I think Tony is the right quarterback, and we’re lucky to have Tony Romo.”
Our View: We’ll see if Romo can stay healthy and get this team to the playoffs in 2013. Romo had a cyst removed from his back earlier this offseason but should be ready for the start of training camp.

Cardinals | Team surprised by WR Swope’s concussion symptoms
The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly concerned with rookie WR Ryan Swope (Texas A&M) missing OTAs due to concussion symptoms. “We were very, very, very surprised about it,” Arians told NFL.com on Friday. “I’m not sure what he can do, I’m not sure what the doctors are going to do at this point. I hope … because the kid is a great talent, and it would be a shame. But having Austin Collie last year go through this same thing, it’s scary.”

Broncos | May platoon RBs because of tempo
The Denver Broncos have been working this offseason on a new up-tempo offense under new OC Adam Gase. Because of that tempo they may choose to platoon their RBs instead of having one bellcow back. According to Andrew Mason from DenverBroncos.com “we could see a Hillman/Ball combination, not just one guy.”
Our View: An important note for fantasy owners here. Gase said earlier this offseason that the team would use multiple RBs. They could rotate backs via series so as not to slow down the tempo with substitutions. Ball’s ADP is growing rapidly (RB20) even though he only received about 25% of the snaps with the first-team this offseason. Hillman’s ADP is RB51 and he may play a bigger role than some assume right now. This is a RBBC which may feature a Thunder (Ball) and Lightning (Hillman) combination.

Broncos | Concious Decision to Get Younger at RB
When the Denver Broncos released veteran RB Willis McGahee it was because they made a conscious decision to get younger at the position.
