Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham said the team will keep DE Ezekiel Ansah at right defensive end and will not move him around like he did last season at Brigham Young. Cunningham said Ansah’s skill level was evident during offseason workouts and believes Ansah will benefit from sticking with one position.

San Francisco 49ers WR Quinton Patton wants to step up and help contribute to the his new team, and now has an opportunity to have a larger roll due to WR Michael Crabtree’s (Achilles’) injury. ‘I just wanted to come in and make an impact on the team,’ Patton said. ‘Whether he was here or not, I was going to try to get on the field the best way I could. But you can’t replace a Crabtree. You just got to step up.”

Baltimore Ravens CB Marc Anthony is getting up to speed with the NFL as he battles for a roster spot, and he has not looked out of place to this point in the offseason program. ‘It’s been good,’ Anthony said. ‘I’m learning a lot from the veterans. Having them there to answer my questions has been great. As far the film and everything, they’re always there to help me.’
