San Francisco 49ers RB Marcus Lattimore (knee) said RB Frank Gore reached out to him when he was injured at the University of South Carolina, and now the two are teammates. Lattimore said Friday, June 28, that he is unlikely to be ready for training camp, although he has been doing sprints and working with the training staff. Lattimore indicated a midseason return could be possible.
