The Green Bay Packers agreed to terms with DL Datone Jones, their first-round pick, on a four-year contract Wednesday, July 24. Jones will receive about $7.7 million over the four years, and the guaranteed portion is in the range of $6.3 million. He will receive a signing bonus of just less than $4 million.

Jacksonville Jaguars DE Jeremy Mincey said Wednesday, July 24, he is willing to do anything the team needs. The team will still use a 4-3 defensive scheme, but it will have some 3-4 elements mixed in, which appears to leave Mincey in some limbo. However, he isn’t worried, and neither is general manager David Caldwell. ‘We have a role for Mince, and we’ll use him in a variety of different fashions. He has some inside pass-rush skills and he has some outside pass-rush skills. There are going to be different packages where he’s going to be valuable for us,’ Caldwell said.
