Ravens | Not worried about Jacoby Jones

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday, July 23, that he isn’t too concerned about WR Jacoby Jones and his inability to pass the conditioning test, although he wasn’t making excuses for the veteran either. ‘He should pass it, but he’s battling. We’ll see – it’s up to him. It’s his job to do. That’s the facts. Facts are stubborn things,’ Harbaugh said. Jones was placed on the non-football injury list Monday, July 22.

Ravens | Ed Dickson practices

Baltimore Ravens TE Ed Dickson (groin) suffered a mild groin strain at the end of the team’s mandatory minicamp in mid-June, but he was able to take part in practice Tuesday, July 23, without any issues.

Footballguys View: Without Anquan Boldin (49ers) we could see the Ravens use more two TE sets in 2013 featuring Dickson and Dennis Pitta. Dickson is athletic and creates mismatches with his size and ability to stretch the deep middle seam.

Ravens | Jameel McClain not progressing quickly

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday, July 23, that LB Jameel McClain (back) has not progressed as far as doctors anticipated by this time. His status is in question for the foreseeable future. ‘Jameel is a tougher one to predict because he’s got the back issue. It’s a spinal cord issue,’ Harbaugh said. ‘So, that just has to heal. Until that heals and we have proof that it’s healed, he’s not going to be out there.’
