Saints | Jimmy Graham not worried about extension

New Orleans Saints TE Jimmy Graham elected not to hold out for a long-term contract as he entered the final year of his rookie deal in 2013. ‘I’m a humble kid from very humble beginnings and I feel blessed to be in the situation that I’m in, so all I’m going to do is go out here and play football,’ Graham said Saturday, July 27, at training camp. ‘I think that’s what I do best, and I think the rest of it will take care of itself.’

Panthers | Three stars favor HGH testing

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton, WR Steve Smith and TE Greg Olsen have all come out in support of testing for human growth hormone, something currently not done in the NFL. ‘Whatever the NFL decides to do I’m all for it, whether HGH testing or any testing,’ Newton said. ‘I’ll be prepared to do the test.’ Olsen also called it good for the game, and Smith said he is all for weeding out the cheaters.
