Jaguars | Maurice Jones-Drew able to practice

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) participated in practice Friday, July 26, and did not have any problems with his surgically repaired foot. He said he feels good but knows he has to get to the point where he can carry the ball 20 to 25 times. Jones-Drew received about 12 repetitions during practice. Head coach Gus Bradley said the team will monitor his reps but want to see him cut and catch some passes during practice.

Footballguys View: This is a breath of fresh air considering the increasingly uncertain bad news we are getting about Santonio Holmes coming back from his lis franc injury. Jones-Drew remains a boom/bust RB2 choice in the late second/early third round, whose ADP could move higher into the second round with more positive news out of camp.

Redskins | Pierre Garcon has high hopes for offense

Washington Redskins WR Pierre Garcon is in love with the team’s offense, saying they could be the best unit of all time. ‘We have the potential to be the best offense ever, really,’ Garcon said. ‘We can be the top offense in the league. We have a lot of great players at every position. We have a great offensive line, great tight ends, great receivers, running backs and quarterback.’
