Browns | Willis McGahee ineffective

Cleveland Browns RB Willis McGahee rushed eight times for 9 yards in Week 3.

Footballguys View: McGahee was just signed off the street on Thursday. We’ll see if he can work back into game shape and look more like the player we remember. Don’t go forcing him into your lineup until we see him look like his old self.

Bengals | RBs split carries

Cincinnati Bengals RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis had 10 rushes for 29 yards and a touchdown in Week 3, while RB Giovani Bernard had 10 carries for 50 yards and a score. Bernard also pitched in four catches for 49 yards.

Footballguys View: This split is likely to continue for the Bengals. We all want to see more touches for Bernard, but that’s unlikely to happen. Green-Ellis will continue to cut into the workload in what is a 50/50 RBBC.

Packers | Johnathan Franklin steps up

Green Bay Packers RB Johnathan Franklin rushed 13 times for 103 yards in Week 3, while RB James Starks (knee) left the game with an injury.

Footballguys View: Franklin looked much better than he did in the preseason. He was more decisive, patient, and he looked more explosive because of it. Franklin did fumble the game away for the Packers, which is a big negative mark against him.
