Eagles | Jason Peters injury not a concern

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said the injury to OL Jason Peters (finger) is not a concern moving forward, even though it may limit him. “Are we gonna bench Jason Peters? No,” Kelly said. “So it’s not that much of a concern. We’re still gonna play with J. We still think he’s one of the best tackles in this game, but he’s not exactly where he could be because he’s got a limitation with the hand, but not to a point where we’re gonna sit Jason down and put someone else in.”

Buccaneers | Josh Freeman wants out

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman reportedly would welcome a trade after he was demoted to the backup quarterback role behind QB Mike Glennon this week. However, Freeman will be a tough piece to move given his current contract, and a trade might not be realistic unless another team’s quarterback goes down with an injury. Freeman has $6.44 million remaining on his contract.
