San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick finished with just 20 yards rushing and had only 86 yards passing midway through the fourth quarter of the team’s ugly loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.

Footballguys View: The 49ers were moving the ball with ease on the ground early in the game against the Colts. They curiously went away from Frank Gore, and stayed away from him even when Kaepernick was struggling. The Colts did a good job of staying disciplined while also confusing the young QB by taking away his easy reads.
