The Denver Broncos placed DT Kevin Vickerson (hip) on the season-ending Injured Reserve Wednesday, Nov. 27, and signed free-agent DT Sione Fua (Panthers) to an undisclosed deal in a corresponding move.
Footballguys View: The Broncos lose a big piece of their defense here. Vickerson is a large run defender who takes up a lot of space in the middle. We’ll see a bigger opportunity for 2013 first-round pick Sylvester Williams. Veteran Mitch Unrein will get more snaps too.
