Raiders | Darren McFadden on the practice field

Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden (hamstring) was on the practice field during the portion of practice open to the media Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Footballguys View: We could see McFadden back on the field this week for the team’s Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys. The team is likely to ease him back into the lineup. Rashad Jennings has been fantastic without McFadden on the field, the team will continue to use him more because of his production as a runner and receiver out of the backfield.

Buccaneers | Mike Glennon the long-term answer?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano believes QB Mike Glennon is the long-term answer at quarterback for the team. ‘I think this is a guy that certainly, as long as he continues on this trajectory, is a guy you’d love to have as a quarterback for a long time,’ Schiano said. Glennon has excelled in his rookie year at protecting the football and completing passes downfield. He leads all rookies with 13 touchdown passes. The Bucs have won three straight and Glennon has thrown at least one touchdown in eight straight games, the longest streak for a rookie passer since Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson did it in nine straight last year.

Footballguys View: Glennon has done a good job of throwing into coverage and being a bold passer. He has a strong arm and will not hesitate to throw deep. Glennon has shown enough that the team may not draft a quarterback next year.

Ravens | Joe Flacco not a fan of wildcat

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco clearly expressed that he’s not a fan of the team running the wildcat formation. Flacco was lined up out wide for a few plays during the team’s Week 12 win over the New York Jets. ‘I don’t like that stuff. I think it makes you look like a high school offense. That’s my opinion,’ Flacco said. He doesn’t expect the team to use the wildcat for the rest of the year.
