Redskins | Opponent does not think Robert Griffin should play

San Francisco 49ers LB Ahmad Brooks does not think Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III should be playing in games right now due to his knee injury from last season. ‘He’s a man, he has the heart of a warrior and is going to go out there and play regardless of the circumstance,’ Brooks told CSN Washington. ‘Everybody can see it. Everybody can see it. He shouldn’t be playing.’

Seahawks | Brandon Browner could go on IR

The Seattle Seahawks are considering placing CB Brandon Browner (groin) on the season-ending injured reserve, according to league sources. Browner is also facing a one-year suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. He’s not expected to be available until mid-December after his groin injury.

Broncos | Kevin Vickerson could go on IR

The Denver Broncos are leaning toward placing DT Kevin Vickerson (hip) on the season-ending Injured Reserve in order to add another defensive tackle to the active roster. Vickerson has been an early-down player in the team’s base defense as well as nickel packages. DTs Mitch Unrein and Sylvester Williams split time filling in for Vickerson in Week 12. Williams hasn’t materialized as a key player up front this season, and he’s been inactive three times this year and twice in the past four games.

Titans | George Wilson likely to start

Tennessee Titans SS George Wilson will likely start in place of the suspended FS Michael Griffin in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts. Wilson is usually tasked with shadowing the opposing tight end, although that was not the strategy last time these two teams met. Wilson played just one snap against TE Coby Fleener, who caught eight passes and a game-high 107 yards.
