Oakland Raiders OL Jared Veldheer made his season debut Thursday, Nov. 28, after being out 11 games with a torn triceps, and the Raiders said they would go by ‘feel’ to see how long the left tackle would play on Thursday. It turned out Veldheer played every snap and helped the offensive line keep QB Matt McGloin clean. He wasn’t sacked by the Dallas Cowboys once. ‘I felt great,’ he said. ‘I wanted to help us, and I was able to maintain my stamina and I felt good conditioning-wise. My arm held up great. That’s all in the past now.’

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant fumbled again during the team’s game against the Oakland Raiders on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Bryant admitted he should have gone north-south on a catch inside the 10-yard line in the fourth quarter. Bryant told reporters he’s got to stop thinking so much about the ball. “I’m being strictly straight up honest. I wasn’t Dez, the person who I am,” he said. “After that happened, I’m, ‘Forget this. I got to talk, I don’t care who’s looking. I’m going to be me. This is how I got to be.’ “
