Giants | Antrel Rolle open to extension

New York Giants FS Antrel Rolle said Monday, Dec. 30, that he would be open to a contract extension with the team. He has one year left on his contract and is currently scheduled to cost the team $9.25 million against the salary cap in 2014. If the team wants to extend his deal, reducing his cap number and giving him more years, he is open to it. ‘If that’s what they want to do, I’ll do it,’ Rolle said. ‘I’d like to retire as a Giant. The ultimate goal is an extension and add more years to my deal so I can stay a part of this organization.’

Vikings | Would like to talk with Todd Bowles

The Minnesota Vikings have contacted the Arizona Cardinals about the possibility of interviewing defensive coordinator Todd Bowles for their head coaching position.

Footballguys View: Bowles will be one of the hotter coaching candidates this offseason. The Vikings are looking for a coach who can help their defense, while also keeping the offense effective.
