The Detroit Lions have contacted the Arizona Cardinals about the possibility of interviewing defensive coordinator Todd Bowles for their head coaching position.

Footballguys View: The Lions are set offensively for the most part. It’s certainly the strength of their team. The defense needs work, especially at the second and third levels. Bowles could help them play better defensively if hired as the head coach.
